Location

Symposium will be held in the premises of the Biotechnical Center (Biotehniški izobraževalni center BIC - location 1 on the map) located on street Ižanska 10, 1000 Ljubljana (http://www.bic-lj.si/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=62&Itemid=79 on the opposite of Botanical garden of Ljubljana at the confluence of the two branches of the river Ljubljanica.

When coming from the center of the town along the river, there is a small bridge for pedestrians/cyclists connecting Ižanska street with Prule (after crossing the bridge you come directly in front of the entrance to the venue).

It can be reached

1. on foot (depending on the location of the hotel, 15-25 minutes walk along the river Ljubljanica from the center of the town; just follow the river)

2. by bus + 5 minutes walk (a special card "Urbana" needed, which can be bought in every kiosk with newspapers and at main turist offices TIC; the price is 1,20 EUR for a trip)

No. 3, 3b, 3g (direction 3-RUDNIK, 3b-ŠKOFLJICA, 3g-GROSUPLJE get off at station Privoz; after you get off take a street on your right which will take you to the river, don't cross the river but turn left and continue about 100 m, where you will see a small bridge for pedestrians connecting you to the venue)

No. 11 (direction ZALOG - get off at the station Privoz)

No. 27 (direction NS RUDNIK - get off at the station Privoz)

No. 9 (direction Trnovo – exit at terminus; cross the river, and turn right. After 100 m a small bridge for pedestrians will connect you to the venue)

3. city bikes can be used; a special card "Urbana" is needed with prior registration (see http://en.bicikelj.si/). There is a city bike stop at the confluence of the rivers next to a small bridge for pedestrians/cyclists and the venue is just across the bridge.
